Google Maps

As part of Get NZ Writing We had to find a location that was 1km, 5km and 10km from our school- Kerikeri Primary School. We used Google Maps to search for the places 1km, 5km and 10km from the school. We had so many learning conversations comparing decimals and using our knowledge of Kerikeri and the surrounding areas to make estimations about which locations were closer and which were further away. We were so excited about the power of Google Maps and even found Luke's old address in Japan!! It was so exciting!

Chrome Music Lab

This afternoon we combined our creative talents for art and music, with our love for digital learning. The Chrome Lab was just so much fun and we created some interesting new tunes too. Miss Young found us some musical instruments to play with. We tried to hit a beat. We worked together to create lovely music.
